You are NOT Crazy

There are ways to turn the tides. It is not easy, I realize. Do not give up. Do not worry if those around you don't believe you. You can find the support if you just keep moving forward. To win, you have to change the game. Your predictability is a disadvantage. And you knowledge of the perpetrator is your advantage. YOU can predict their behavior. Use your wisdom to win, not your emotions.

Don't be THIS Kind of Choreographer

If someone is kneeling in a puddle, they won't drown. All that has to happen is they have to stand up. We don't have to LIFT THEM out of the puddle, manipulators just want us to believe we do, using guilt and shame as the tools.  They do this so that we will run to their rescue confirming what matters most to them, we are under their control. Their calculating mind was only trying to figure out what they had to say or do to get us to jump. They won’t easily give up. Their motivation is simple: they have to win.

That is why we get so tired and they feel so accomplished. They celebrate when we feel we are failing, and they observe with glee as we continue to try harder.

We must Wake up, Stand up, Live free.

Trust Yourself

You might be saying how can I trust myself?  Look at all the wrong turns I took, what I allowed to happen in my life.  Yet, if you really look back,  more often than not, there was this inner knowing, this feeling that something was not right, but you trusted what you HEARD others say, more than what you KNEW at some levels to be true. Trusting that knowing, and not feeling compelled to convince anyone of anything, is part of living freely. We exhaust ourselves, trying to convince others of who we are, or trying to convince ourselves that someone will change. Instead, we need to be able to walk away, being lead by our knowing. That is enough.

Always know you have within you. Fall down seven, get up eight. Every day is a new day to change and forever impact your life. Never stop believing in a bright future.

We are Our Rescuer

Why can’t we love ourselves as much as we love others, especially others that we often perceive as helpless? We need to see that we are acting helplessly, although we may not be in fact helpless. We have compassion for those who we perceive as unable to defend/care for themselves without our help, but we do not see that we are in fact helpless, if we do not choose to care for and defend ourselves!

The time is now. Be your own gaurdian, your own care-taker, your own strength. You deserve it. Rescue you.
